ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an aviation-minded and detail-focused Aerial Sensor Operator to join our aviation team based out of Jandakot Airport, Perth. This role is field-based and requires extensive travel to diverse regions of Australia, from coastal areas to remote outback locations, and you can be based from any major city in Australia.

In this role, you will be directly involved in every stage of our aerial survey operations. From preparing sensor kits and coordinating mission logistics on the ground, to operating advanced LiDAR and imagery systems in the air, your work will ensure that every mission delivers high-quality, accurate data. You’ll be expected to think on your feet, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance.

A typical mission will see you travelling with pilots and crew to remote locations, setting up and calibrating equipment, monitoring live data capture in-flight, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. When back on the ground, you’ll handle data transfers, backups, and quality checks, as well as liaise with data processing teams to resolve coverage or accuracy issues.

The range of tasks you will perform in this role include:

  • Sensor Operations: Operate LiDAR and imagery sensors during missions, monitor performance, adjust settings, and communicate with pilots in real time.
  • Data Management: Conduct post-flight checks, manage data transfers and backups, maintain flight logs, and flag quality issues.
  • Sensor Setup & Maintenance: Install, calibrate, and test sensors; oversee freighting; perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when required.
  • Mission Preparation & Coordination: Prepare kits, support flight planning, arrange accommodation and transport, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to debriefs, suggest workflow or equipment improvements, and support training of new operators.

ABOUT YOU

You will bring to the role:

  • Experience with aerial LiDAR and/or imagery camera systems (1+ years preferred). We are open to training candidates with strong transferrable skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and data quality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment or data issues under pressure.
  • Adaptability to dynamic schedules, weather, and remote fieldwork.
  • Effective communication skills with pilots and technical teams.
  • Background in surveying, remote sensing, aviation, or geography (desirable).

Key Account Manager – Strategic Growth

The role

As Key Account Manager – Strategic Growth, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with major enterprise customers and expanding our footprint as well as revenue within their operations. You will own strategic account plans, identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell, and help shape multi-year partnerships that embed Outline’s solutions into our clients’ compliance frameworks. You will have the opportunity to work across mining, utilities, engineering, and water sectors.

You will also play a key role in opening new enterprise-level accounts, where relationship building and complex sales cycles are critical.

What you’ll do

  • Lead account planning and growth strategies for major enterprise clients across regulated industries.
  • Secure existing revenue and grow revenue with new enterprise clients
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, from operational leaders to C-suite executives.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to expand our products and services across multiple sites or business units.
  • Confidently present to clients on impact and outcomes, grounded in an understanding of geospatial technology
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and consistently high customer experience.
  • Contribute to strategic bids, proposals, and negotiations for enterprise contracts.
  • Bring market insights back into the business to shape future solutions and opportunities.

What you bring

  • Proven experience managing large, complex accounts (ideally 5-10+ years) in regulated industries such as mining, utilities, engineering, or water.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account growth strategies and deliver revenue expansion.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes at enterprise scale.
  • An active network within regulated sectors, with the ability to open doors and influence key decision-makers.

Business Development Manager – Mining and Compliance

The role

As Business Development Manager, you will be central to expanding our footprint and revenues in mining and adjacent industries. Your focus will be on creating and converting new opportunities: identifying prospects, building relationships, and helping them understand how Outline’s aerial and AI-driven solutions can reduce risk, drive operational efficiency, automate their compliance and reporting needs, and coverting these opportunities to revenue.

You will work closely with our technical and account teams to open doors, navigate complex sales processes, and bring new clients into the fold. While the initial focus is mining (Tiers 1, 2 and 3), there is scope to expand into utilities, engineering, water, or government sectors.

What you’ll do

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new revenue opportunities across the mining and resources sector.
  • Drive outbound prospecting and develop a healthy revenue pipeline of opportunities aligned to our growth strategy.
  • Partner with technical specialists to position Outline’s aerial and AI-based compliance solutions to prospective clients.
  • Confidently present to clients on impact and outcomes, grounded in an understanding of geospatial technology
  • Lead negotiations, proposals, and bid responses for new accounts.
  • Contribute insights from the market to help shape products and future growth initiatives.
  • Support smooth handover of new clients into account management and delivery teams.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in business development or technical sales (ideally 3–7 years) in mining, geospatial, engineering, or environmental services.
